Shannon Eoff has enjoyed playing and listening to music since birth. Her family always had music playing around the house and was a part of music in church growing up. She would watch her dad transfer vinyl records to reel-to-reel with fascination and her mom was constantly singing. The main style of music in those days around the house was the 70s folk of Evie and John Denver.
She has learned many instruments: piano, recorder, violin, handbells, clarinet, bass clarinet (7 years, including state/regional bands), trumpet, trombone, baritone, percussion, and drum set. She has performed with multiple bands in genres: rock, metal, punk, folk, contemporary, funk/jazz, and symphonic band. Her main instrument has been the drumset since 1995, and her latest rock band is called Tall Dark Whimsy, an all-female rock trio throwing back to the 1990s and applicable to modern music. Occasionally, she has subbed in for local handbell choirs to this day.
Moss & Pansy showcases Shannon’s love for her community and passion for music. Want to be a part of the music scene in Oregon’s Wine Country? Reach out today!
